Im at chapter 742 and I gave up. The MC has a memories of Great Emperor (2 lifetime worth) and a memory of Mercenary King (kind of) and the way the MC acts is like your average youth or young master, he is not really exceptional in anyway, he got carried by the memories of Great Emperor so far and he is kind of stupid? Idk, in many novel I've read, MC usually able to piece the whole picture or situation with little hint they got but here? Sometimes the MC is dumb as brick and also this kind of novel where his companion or friend always got huge power up because they are able to go to 'higher level holy land' while MC still struggles with desolate land, I don't know, I've read this stereotypes a lot but still hate it. Also my god the MC is c*cky and annoying as hell, when someone asking him something like cultivation level he always answer ambiguously, like it's seriously annoying, just my rant, very subjective but I dislike it. 4/10 Tldr; -MC kinda dumb -Stereotype of his companion always ahead of him despite his countless encounter -Annoying personality -Ambiguous harem -Inconsistent personality

You could tell the author got tired of writing this book towards the end. This Divine Land arc and Outer Boundary arc were really bland and rushed to be honest. And honestly speaking, the arcs prior to these two weren't that much better either, since they were always built on the same premise: the mc chasing after his wives, whether it's him trying to find them or rescue them, especially Ke'er. The mc had to chase her down through over half the book. This book should have been called Husband Sovereign Chasing After His Wives instead. . . Also, there's been many plotholes, that have been mentioned already in the comment section below, that the author's forgotten to address, such as the reason why Huan'er cultivates really fast, amongst many other plotholes. So, repetitive plot, meh action scenes, numerous plotholes and rushed ending. Overall, this book was a 4. 5/10 for me.

wow after years war sovereign is over. this is hands down a top 3 cultivation novel. with all the tropes harem, possession, transmigration, cultivation, young masters and even mecha it still managed to do everything satisfyingly with no cringe. after courting death numerous time my glorious purple robed king duan ling tian finally managed to have no enemies left. farewell 9/10 truly peak

I finally managed to finish this; the ending wasn't as as satisfying as I'd like it to be, BUT!!, overall this wasn't bad at all. The author deserves more than a thumbs up for this one. When you think about it, our war sovereign really did soar and surpassed "heaven" , so to speak; that's right junior brothers and sisters, heaven is(was) actually a really strong cultivator, and the MC dealt with that, I'd rather not say too much. Bottom line, this isn't a bad novel.

I've read it till chapter 950 and it's okay but what makes me suffer while reading is the repetitiveness of word's and explanation. I get it that it is necessary for the beginning to learn about the world but reading the same phrases and paragraphs 800 chapter later is straight up annoying. I get it word count and everything but it is possible to trim this novel down by a third and it'll be an improvement of quality. That's why I'm dropping rn. Other than that if you can deal with that and like cliché MC with massive plotarmor give it a try.

I read almost 300 chapters and the fights are boring, the enemies either killed by insciption or 1-2 hits even if their strenght has a little gap

If you're wondering why the story is monotonous, it's because the MC gets everything too easily and the others are just plain unreasonable in all damnable ways. What about the conflicts, then? Although they are exciting, they are also dull since they are very predictable. This is due to the fact that this book places a strong emphasis on battle power rather than technique, that combat experience is mostly irrelevant, and that there is no consideration of martial dao. As a result, fight results are straightforward to anticipate, and there is little suspense surrounding a character's level of power. But if all of the things I've mentioned may potentially work to this novel's benefit, why is that? The plot is actually fairly simple, and there is a lot of action, but the most essential part is that the MC is always troubled by a cute, adorable girl.

The MC and the plot are quite interesting in the beginning. All in all, it's a decent novel before he ascends. After that, though, it just becomes too bland and boring and the unique traits of the novel from the beginning are basically forgotten. It's not bad, though, it's just like eating rice without salt. . . Very bland

Mc justified his character, until now I'm reading and enjoying it. Hope author will speed up chapter releases. Can't wait for the excitement of the next story.
