    Hot Take. The power scaling in TBATE is literally busted. Here's why: (P.S: I still f*ck*ng love the story. Maybe the power scaling was important for the development but I just wanna make a point.) . Lances were hyped for so long, they seemed so formidable One dies? Omg. It must be one of the strongest fighters of Alacrya right? Nope it wasn't even a scythe, it was a retainer. The other lances struggle against Retainers The Scythes come and f*ck*ng steamroll everything Then Arthur powers up Arthur took down Cadell...YAY finally he can kill strong Scythes! Then we get Wraiths(forgot what they are called) Basically they are Asura killers. Made to kill Asuras with teamwork and stronger than Scythes. Arthur somehow steamrolls them in a few chaps... I'm stacking now so idk anything else no spoil pls . But was the story badass as f*ck with all that stuff? The answer is yes!

      SPOILERS . . . . . Bleeding by the nose Ellie dies in the current chapter but the aether weapon in her suddenly ps if art just leaves the aether in the fate relic will burst and kill everyone. I feel you about the weekly releases. Its too much time between chapters to remember whats going on exactly. I feel like I take half the chapter to remember wh Don’t want to read and see 2 or 3 girls really LOVE Art but only because of Art believes he just choose Tess.(sth that happened in I shall seal heavens) But if his relationship with other girls is just pure friendship I don’t have problem with him ending up with only 1 girl. And is it going to end tragedy or bittersweet .you are strange regardless if you are not into her as a woman, she is someone you have had as a best friend for half your life, and she is also a woman who has already confessed her love for you, no matter what any human being . . . . . . . . . . . . . NO SPOILERS

    so this chapter(480) was a bit confusing to understand so here is what i undertstood practically hanuel is one with fate cause its a fragment made by fate and is said to be a friend of art cause fate even tho can see everything cant understand it so it expected that the creator of relictombs is the friend of art but they arent and fate is wrong then hanuel teaches art to look at different fates of the world and how they end and at each end its caused by art so the gang says fck what fate says and uses god step, aurora rec, and kings gambit and using these three caused the core to dry up and now art is bleeding by the nose ps if art just leaves the aether in the fate relic will burst and kill everyone if you want you can add what you understood in the reply so that my understanding of this chapter will get better

      You are mostly correct, but when Arthur leaves the relic, the world won’t be destroyed. It was merely mentioned that it’s his fate to destroy his planet by releasing all the stored aether from the aether realm back into the world. PS: You should activate the Spoiler button since your comment is basically a major spoiler for everyone who hasn’t read it yet.

    I loved this novel so much in the first volumes. But the issue is that 1 chapter a week with the fact that the novel became so complicated at the end made me kinda quit.. i'll have to reread a lot of it to understand it on a deeper level. still love it, but TM complicated it a lot at the end.

      I feel you about the weekly releases. Its too much time between chapters to remember whats going on exactly. I feel like I take half the chapter to remember where we are if im reading it on release. I treat it like a real book and only read when arcs are finished and I do a re-read of the arc before.

      Well, if it helps, you can always ask for a recap in the comments or things you have forgotten about. People here are willing to help. By the way, if you plan on rereading the novel, I suggest that you just read the webcomic instead and start from chapter 139 of the novel afterwards. It’s a lot faster than reading the entire novel from scratch.

        Oh trust me i've been in this Novel for about 3 years. was even a Lance on his Patreon at the time V3 was going. The pace was good and easy. It's just that i feel that even TM lost himself in some of the chapters. There is so much going on since the Djinn's and the whole Aether thing. I really love TBATE but i also feel the novel is full of pov switches lately. I understand this builds the world and all but 1 chap a week then 4 different pov's then going back to Art is not an easy thing.
