First half was great, a technologically advanced nobody giving arrogant feudal lords their comeuppance while saving hot chicks. Second half was okayish but the ending was very rushed and disappointing

The book has a happy ending. It's slightly rushed but it's good. I would give the novel overall rating of 9 out of 10. If you are looking for a slice of life novel with good side characters and good action this would be the novel. Take the time to read it there's no wasted time here.

I just like this book, the author created an interesting, rich and engaging world. he populated it with interesting characters. the main character is far from the standard OP hero and you can like him as much as the witches surrounding him. I had a good time with the story and would recommend it to others.

The first half was amazing but the second half was confusing and fantastical and strange. please finish reading this review to understand more because it's weird. If you don't mind deep explanations of magical Concepts that are completely irrelevant to the technology, then this book is still worth reading. The first half of the book is very well written and has excellent technological development, developing modern technology in a medieval world. the first half of this book is a full five stars. However in the second half of the book it starts to deviate into mystical Concepts that are not only irrelevant to technology, but are also very difficult to understand. Instead of every chapter being about technological development, every fourth chapter ends up being about it, meaning that I ended up literally skipping entire chapters of borderline fever dreams.

Well, it was not very good and not really bad. The story starts nice and has some very nice parts, only the end starts to fall of. It feels rushed and less well thought through. The kingdom builder starts more grounded but quickly becomes more an more fantasy driven where logic becomes less and less a concern. There actually IS a lovestory, which I found quite refreshing for novels of this kind (no harem). I would have given it a 6. 5/10 or a 7/10.

Simply put, I liked the story. For those who like to see kingdom building, merging of technology and in total. . . a wholesome atmosphere in novels, it's recommend for you guys. It was quite well balanced throughout the story. though in the last 200 chapters or so, you'll feel like it should've been a bit longer or detailed. it being a bit rashed won't pose much of a problem though.

Personally, I really like this story, it has good kingdom building and presents the main character and secondary characters well, see some criticisms related to it not focusing on the mc in some chapters, but I don't see any problem, my criticisms are in relation to the battles Be it the battle against the Church against the neighboring kingdom or demons, I couldn't feel any threat at any point, and the end of the story from the point he enters the world and dreams for me was completely lost. But I still recommend it, it was a good read despite the Final Saga.

Translators are infuriating at times. Also the ending is REALLY rushed. last 150 chapters should have been at least 300 chapters if not 400+.

This is really a Magnum Opus. Starts isekai, but rather than an OP protag, the protag has his strength and lots of weaknesses as well. Such amazing "kingdom building", and the stakes keep getting increased as the story progresses. So well-written side characters, not just cookie-cutter NPCs. You can't not cheer along with Roland & Graycastle throughout the story. The ending is left a bit open, but the story is complete anyways. Many stories can branch off from this very rich lore. Author is not afraid to kill memorable side-characters, but not just for shock value. All in all, a very good story. I totally did not regret the hundreds of hours I spent reading the whole LN.

First novel where i really enjoyed reading side character stories. It got a bit rushed in the end but overall is pretty good. Definitely a hidden gem.
