The lizard had managed to break out, and for a moment it slowed, as if it couldn’t believe what was happening.

The Quick Knife battle squad’s actual target had been the Steel Bone Knight fishman, so they let it get away.

Although it was an iron level magic beast, it was near death and had no battle prowess left.

Due to this unexpected turn of events, the lizard sized that opportunity to save itself.

Kuai Tui’s decision was very reasonable.

Kuai Tui was the only iron level, and he braced himself to block the fishman knight.

Lance and blade collided.

Metal shrieked and sparks flew.

The bronze knife flew away, along with Kuai Tui. His forearm was bent back, and his hand was stained with blood.

He was the core, and now that he had been thrown out of position and wounded, the entire battle squad was affected and became disorderly.

The Steel Bone Knight fishman saw this weakness, and his massive eyes glinted ominously.

He immediately changed his plans, now deciding to annihilate the battle squad before him.
