Summary

[Infinite Regression Genre] In any fantasy novel, regression is a guaranteed cheat key!

What if it’s the ability of [Infinite Regression]?
There’d be no need to worry about any bad endings. After all, the protagonist would eventually reach a happy ending.

“Cheat key, my foot.”

I tried it myself just to find out otherwise.

The myths of regressors’ success depicted in all those novels are actually fake…
It was all just vile propaganda!

“This run is doomed too.”

This is not a story of success; it’s a tale on the aftermath of failures.
Thus begins the heartfelt documentary of a man with 1183 runs of experience!

Everybody has already sung their praises, so I'll chime in on what I think sucks about this novel. My first issue with it is how it feels like we're in perpetual side-story limbo. It's refreshing seeing such a unique format, but the problem is how much it makes us feel so "disconnected" to the core of the story. The lack of a main storyline/plot has too many drawbacks, but the author does at least handle it well. My second problem is that this work also suffers from the [Repetitive Formula] issue. Meet the new character Cheolsu! He's extremely unique because of [random trait here]. We'll now follow him around for an entire round. Cheolsu will now most likely fade into half-obscurity. The End. Repeat. In all honesty, I found it hard to binge this. Because of these two flaws, I feel like the story is much more suitable for casual or intermittent reading. Well, it does do everything else perfectly though. A well-balanced 4.5/5 Personally? 4.0/5

after reading (and enjoying) the first 5 chapters, I'm left with the unfortunate desire to see it be a standard story and not something told through little stories.

It's weird isn't it we want standard story to have a unique aspect and unique aspect story to have a standard story, and this story is first of it's kind too.

There's a reason the common format of story telling is the ubiquitous format. I like a unique format too, don't get me wrong, but this one makes me feel disconnected from the protagonist and other characters, it also devalues the stories a bit because I get the sense we are going on a fun little side story excursion over here, but it probably won't be very (or at all) relevant to the main plot.

I wasted so much time deciphering this that I'm going to write down your name as one of the reasons I wasted my youth in my Will.

Foolish Junior Disciple, all Dao is strong. It lies in the person to see if it is utilized to its full extent and potential. Junior disciple, please meditate on this thought, your arrogance holds no bounds and restricts your potential. The arrogant die young as the wise only grow towards ascension, this Elder knows well the foolishness and brashness that come with adolescence and their vicenarian times.

Your dao is strong yes but it is lacking, by striping yourself from the pain of daily chapters you cannot achive the supreme dao of interconnectedness. How can one say i was there when mountains were getting erect while not being there ?

Why is there a Tragedy tag??? didn't Undertaker said there won't be one???

    Reply
    • dhquintero 3

Because the novel is "written" by the Mc and the reader to seal the admin god, meaning that the novel exist in that world, a world where everything can become an anomaly, so they have to be careful not to mention anything that can be used against them, and tragedy is kinda dangerous so he include very little, even though almost everything in his life is a tragedy
