Stopped reading this at around 2100ch. It's great nonsense kind of fun and it's satire on the whole cultivation thing which was interesting, but at some point the it felt like the MC has given up and i just felt sad for the guy. Without much spoiling - MC got involved with the cultivation stuff and was interested to try it out, but the bigshots took him like a doll and plays around with him while making him stronger and more usefull. It's all good fun since he's interestend and and is having fun, but the further it goes the more brutaly he gets toyed around with, to the point where he gets killed and ressurected willy-nilly. While he has his goals and motivations, he pretty much always gets what he wants, but not in the way he wants it, together with other random stuff that he has to deal with. By the 2000ch it feels like the MC has accepted his fate as a toy and a plot machine, and just goes with the flow... While i would like to finish it, i feel like I can't enjoy the fun anymore.

Thousands of novels, mangas and whatnot.. yet this remains one of my favourites. The humour in the earlier chapters made me laugh out aloud many times and Senior White is just 🤌🏻✨ It is a parody of cultivation novels (imo), make no mistake, so if that’s not your cup of tea, look elsewhere.
Are the latest translations still really bad?
This is my first review after reading 650 chapters and yes its worthwhile read if you are reading for the fun and comedy 😉 First of all this is a slice of life novel not your traditional cultivation novel where MC reach higher realms every 50 or 100 chapters. Growth is slow here... say 300 chapters. MC is quite dumb and not calculative and that makes it more funny. The plot of the novel is intresting but moves at a snails pace. There are a lot of dumb characters in this novel especially the seniors of the chat group. You should take it as a light reading and not take things to seriously to enjoy this novel thoroughly 😁 This is the kind of novel which you can drop and pick up any time and not feel lost as the main storyline moves at a snails pace.
