Children of the Holy Emperor

Basically Nate's parental struggles with his protagonists children and never ending stress because of his MC son Morres. Jokes aside as you read you discover everything happening is actually part of a much greater web of schemes of multiple parties. Morres IS NOT a reliable narrator for good reasons that'd be spoilers but related to his "preparations", and he's one of most intriguing and complex MCs I've seen in a long time. Thus it's actually a story where readers get to use their brains to guess what on earth is leading to what, so it's not for you if you want an easy read. My complaint is that despite how EVERYTHING connects well together slowly but surely, there's lot of confusion in the beginning due to lack of direct explanations. I love all the personalities and relationships and I keep wanting more and more fluff moments specially with the latest chaps (400+). They're all traumatized, just let everyone party together and play like the kids they are with their dad 😭

Why haven't they uploaded more chapters? The raw already has more than 530 chapters. I hope to be able to read it here😭 The story is good and I love the relationship of the protagonist with his family, how little by little he accepts his true self, and maybe he will remember everything one day, I stopped reading it around the chapters 300 since they deleted the page where I read 😩

This novel is lovely. The beginning might be a bit confusing, but it effectively sets the tone for the rest of the story and highlights its central focus. The characters' individual stories are captivating, and some tropes are presented in a new different way. And the character interactions are very well developed. For me, this novel is well worth reading, especially if you enjoy comedy and delightful interactions between characters.

i am loving this story. . . despite having soo many troops its so well combined and the family fluff is best. . the plot line is strong the story has good potential. . i really want someone adapt it to manhwa

I love this story so much! Can't wait to see the upcoming chapters! The characters, their backstory, the way this story unfolds. . I hope they will adapt this into manhwa someday

I really love the story, it is great! The family relationship is amazing, you can’t hate anyone in the story. The diversities of the concepts in the story is amazing, it is like an open world game where you can have any ability And I am seeing a lot of potential in the story

from the first few chapters I thought it would be an action novel, it ended up being a mystery/political/slice of life novel. it's not bad but its a bit boring. the mc trains and get stronger but since he doesn't fight and we have nothing to compare his strength to its kind of meaningless. I think the main problem is that the people he interacts with day to day are the strongest people in the world. so any small strength gain seems pointless. especially since the strongest guy has his back 24/7 so theres never any suspense or tension. there are some translation problems early on but it gets fixed later. overall, it's good world building and characters. has good building blocks for a good plot. but it's kinda boring because nothing really happens

It's a great story for what it does. The translation brings it down, but I still like it. I feel like it can be viewed as boring and cliche for someone. Nate always saving the day might be annoying. Overall, it has a special charm, so I'm willing to give it a 5 star rating.

Review at 83 chapters. The writing and character development is above most novels out there but I can't really recommend this novel. After so many chapters I haven't reached the point where I find this novel interesting. I'm sure it will pick up it's pace later on, but I can't say I'm entertained so far.

A well written novel with a dull story. The novel has been gearing up to expose a couple of big mysteries, but it all felt slow. I saw little in terms of character growth, relationships, power growth.
