Birth of the Demonic Sword

It was good at the beginning but the mid-asss romance ruined it for me. Dropped it around chapter 755-760 where author decided to kill mc's braincells in order to facilitate the below average romance. Would rate it 3/5 until chapters 600 and 2. 5/5 till chapter 760. Also I haven't read past chapter 760 but from fandom I learned that it's not a harem. So I guess that's the only decent thing about romance in it. Usually I would ignore these minor elements if the story is good but after chapter 600 that romance was forced so much down the throat that it kinda became a deal breaker for me and I dropped it. That's my honest opinion. TO EACH THEIR OWN👍🏿

A very decent novel from the world building to the character I would say everything is a good 8 out of ten however the quality starts to decrease over time.

After reading nearly 900 chapters i am pretty sure the author has some beef with mc. Even with all the incredible advantages the mc will just be overwhelmingly passive. The power system is unique but the defination will feel like sh*t.

It was good all the way to the academy arc then it somehow turned into this pen is blue but it can write red. mc originally dies researching martial arts, rebirths into a world of magic and instead of using magic to complete his sdupit martial arts theory he becomes a "new species" by fusing with a dragon? he levels up, proceeds to fight a beast beyond his power 'why am i so weak? oh well, on to the next weakest level but this time I want spaghetti. . ' the cultivation sucks and the terminology is weird.

I think it is an average novel and I do not recommend it for your first novel in this genre, On the start it was really good, thoughtful opponents, constant pressure. However, over time it becomes more and more boring, the battles are uninteresting, the cultivation system is slow and you can't see the results.

If i wanted to describe the word mediocre, i would show this novel. There is near to 0 scheming, intelligent individuals and plot twist. It is always predictable and straightforward. Cultivation techniques and system is not interesting. I have read 800 chapters but if you were to ask me what was the most epic chapter i couldn't even tell one. They are just lackluster. You can't feel any emotions reading this, it is like author is telling instead of showing so we can experience it. And romance doesn't help either. The way they started their relationship and how it continued was contradicting and disappointing. If you are not a beginner reader i would say you would be pretty disappointed because which aspect of this novel you like, there is probably some novel that does it 3x better.

Great Novel, MC is very hardworking towards his goal, NO HAREM, Very Smart and Cunning MC unlike other Novel. I had Fun reading it for a month!

A great novel. A scheming, calculating, ruthless protagonist. A will to go to any length to reach his ambition. Great world building, well written side characters and most importantly, a reasonable journey to power instead of directly being OP.

I love this novel, the MC's determination to do anything to reach the pinnacle of cultivation is simply inspiring. Another thing I love is the secondary characters, it's not just the protagonist who is strong, his friends can also keep up with him. King Elbas, Divine Demon, Sword Saint, but don't forget, the GOAT is King Elbas
