Arcane Academy: The Divine Extraction Legacy

The novel starts off decently, with enough promise to keep me reading despite its flaws. Sure, there’s poor grammar, a pushover MC, no real training, and other common issues (as many comments have pointed out), but these were tolerable at the beginning. However, the quality takes a nosedive after the academy arc. From that point onward, it feels like the author has no clear plan for the story. Instead, they seem to throw in every idea that comes to mind, hoping something sticks. Despite the decline, I kept reading in the hope of seeing some progress. I didn’t even mind the idea of the story shifting toward romance when Constance came into the picture, as long as it provided a new, clear direction. Unfortunately, even this didn’t happen. The story remained as aimless as ever, failing to establish any focus or purpose and the MC stays disconnected from the world around him. To summarize, here are the 2 main problems: 1. No Character Progression: Characters appear and disappear randomly without meaningful development. 2. Poorly Written Characters and Plot: Both allies and enemies act illogically, and the plot feels aimless and random. In short, the novel had potential, but it quickly loses its way, turning into a chaotic and frustrating read.

ch. 211 I can't take it anymore, it's too much for me! The novel's universe has potential, but it is completely ruined by many things. 1. The author's writing skills are really bad (this includes grammar and such). He can't construct an original story in a smooth and continuous way. 2. the mc is stupid, retards, dumb and all the synonyms of lack of intelligence. He will systematically make the stupidest decisions possible because the author is not able to balance his MC otherwise. 3. Clichés, almost always stemming from the stupidity of the MC, are the only way the author has to move the story forward. 4. mc is a pushover. Even if people try to kill him, betray him or put him in extremely problematic situations, mc will not do anything. ((he did absolutely nothing to the person who made his friend sacrifice himself to keep him alive) RIP lotus) I don't even recommend the novel to those who are bored, it just risks damaging your brain.

To bé absolutely honest, I really wanted to give this novel a try. But as many of the other reviews have said, it just keeps getting worse. Beginning was good, attention grabbing, and had such good potential. For that it gets two stars, I would’ve honestly given it one star with how it just got worse. As many of the comments have said it feels like at one point the author stopped trying and there was no plan or plot to go off of anymore. Felt like the author just kept throwing different plots every new chapter or small arc. I just kép reading to pass the time but it honestly felt like I was being treated like an *d**t as a reader to continue reading. Too many plot holes, too many forced plots, too many side characters that don’t get enough exploration or character building, and too many inconsistencies . I would have honestly preferred at this point to read the Chinese novels that just have a bunch of face slapping. Save your time and read Shadow Slave, Lord of Mysteries, Omniscient Readers Viewpoint and so many more better novels than this letdown of a novel. You know what, I’m giving it a one star now.

Strong start, but gets boring QUICK. MC is boring, stupid, inconsistent and lazy. Doesn't train and only looks for cheats. Doesn't get revenge on anyone. Conflicts happen and are forgotten in a chapter. Timeskips just mean others get stronger and he sits there with a thumb up his *ss.

Love the story and the concept but I feel like the writer is rushing the story arc. There are a lot of plot lines that were discarded so quickly to get to this point and much of the character and world development are starting to lose focus. We went from the academy arc to the immortal arc so quickly and now the writer is blending in modern day tech with a magic society that was just riding around on carriages and making golems that are now referred to as androids. The secret bureau was made out to be some global police force but are now made up of people who don’t even use magic. It’s all over the place but a good read and a great attempt at keeping the story as cohesive as possible. It just needs massive editing.

Was good earlier but slowly became a plot of convinces and mixed bunch different random stuff kinda like a story by a kid 😅 what ever is cool will be added in to the story, powering up greatly just enough to fight the next big bad.

really disappointing novel, as of writing this review its ranked 28th on the site, honestly i dont know how its still up here, the beginning was promising and had a lot of interesting concepts taken from other genres and other popular novels such as Lord of the Mysteries, but as the story progresses plot points are haphazardly introduced and abandoned, lets not even discuss the horror that is the romance subplot that came out of nowhere. It just feels like the author had so many ideas, and they were too eager to show off all of them, it starts as a sort of horror/mysteries/eldritch theme (LoTM), then goes in an academy setting then goes into a wandering adventurer setting, its trying to do politics and romance and royalty and everything you can think of, and it does it badly

It only progressively got worse, and for some morbid reason, I kept reading. The power system is completely wack, and it's more based off of whatever the author thought looked good in the story. The plot line seems random and almost dumb at times, plus there was so many story elements that could've been developed. A sudden romantic development bloomed between the Mc and someone else that legit did not have any buildup or any actual feelings. The story was fun whilst it lasted, but i'm really not hooked enough to leave a long and detailed review. Tldr; confusing plot, bad power system, good for novel beginners??, not worth reading- even as a filler story whilst waiting for other updates.

Power system is messed up. Sometimes he seems strong other time he mc appears weak. There are interesting parts but overall the story is mid. 3rd rate characters with no intelligence. Average mc (in terms of personality).

This is a very enjoyable read. The system used is unique and has strong scalability. Its enjoyable to see the MC use both skill and smarts to outwit his opponents. Overall, a very fun read.
