An Extra’s POV

This will be the first time for me giving such a low rating. Sigh. I dropped this at 578. Time and time again, I've given it a lot of chances, hoping it'd get better. The beginning is quite fine but here are the cons I've seen others rant Abt as well: 1. The inner monologues are too much and the author thinks he needs to explain everything, including his train of thought and how he came to that conclusion. 2. The word count per chapter is below avg and an entire chapter can be taken away just by an inner monologue. 3. The author gives a lot of detail and backstory along with interactions on side characters who are going to inevitably die off that it feels very redundant. I personally have read "Daily life of a cultivation judge" which gives a lot of exposition on micro details on world building and side characters, and quite liked it. You just have to nail it right. 4. The author drags things out a lot. Like, things can wrap up just well in 4-5 chapters, but he drags it out till the 10th or 12th chapter with the same title that you'd find yourself skimming through, waiting for the inevitable. 5. Mc is the generic j*p Isekai protag who blushes and gets embarassed quite a bit and can't have a proper conversation with a beautiful girl without fumbling it. You can argue that he starts off as a 16 year old but he doesn't grow out of it. The only reason he manages in the latter chapters is due to an emotion suppressing skill and the system working on it due to class privileges. 6. Dumb mistakes. There are quite sm plotholes you'd observe but the worst is dumbing down the mc to get things done and justifying it. To not spoil things, I'll make it simple, he gets op skills but the effect clashes with his class privileges so he sacrifices the skills away for sm stats. . . The class can change along with the privileges but skills stay along. Now, the effect may very well be gone once his class changes. I understand the skills were given to him to handle a certain tough opponent (here, the creature in question being an ss divine beast) and the skills had to be rid away, else he'd be too op. The simplest way of doing this would be to have the system impose a notification, telling him that it simply cannot allow it or the skills would be sealed away and he can only unlock it when he has a higher ranked class. This alternative is more likely to be accepted than dumbing down the mc and annoying the readers. 7. I'm not complaining but it seems there's some kind of dissatisfaction on author notes at the end of every chapter. It can pull you away from the immersion. He also slightly spoils a bit as well. You can simply ignore it and make haste to the comments section or the next chapter 😂 Thanks for reading 🙌🏻

For me personally it was good at the beginning. People are disliking at the beginning because he doesn’t kill or is very reluctant, but it got better. The biggest thing for me (and the reason I dropped it) is because I dislike the MC’s relationships with the side characters. Especially with Esme. It got so unbearable for me that I was scrolling at any mention of her name, and when I scrolled through 3 consecutive chapters, I realized I should just drop it. So I did that. Also this author writes like 5 novels at the same time pretty sure, that could be a reason why the conversations and interactions are bad but I don’t know. 4/5 without esme, 1. 5/5 with.

starts very strong, good classic Isakai, but at some point it became ridiculous, you can see the all point is as many chapters as he can, the plot is all lost, the MC is OP to the point it is boring, the storyline almost stops. shame. . .

It'd bad 👎 I consider this novel boring and I dislike it so it will get the lowest rating possible fromme. It is far mor boring compared to most transmigration stories

Dropping the novel, it started off good but falls off hard, the story is very bland and lacks any sort of planning, the MC's power depends on what the author wants, could be strong then suddenly weak, the characters are junk and the MC is not any better, love interest? Gone for most of the novel all of a sudden which is not a fun trope at all and despised in most novels. What I hate most is his main skill, it only exists as a plot device for the author rather than something you are excited to see being used, there is more I wanna say but overall never read this please.

This novel seemed to have some potential, so I kept reading all the way to chapter 500, waiting for it to get good but it never did. I am always looking for novels that have a system/ power structure that is not exclusive to the main character. I think that it is interesting to see the levels of skills/classes, it gives a good idea power levels and the evolution of skills to a higher tier keeps abilities interesting. Unfortunately all that is shown is that people just randomly gain skills and upgrade classes basically off screen and without doing anything to deserve them. The main problem is that they gave the MC so many op skills of the bat that it is hard to follow. They then decided to make him way stronger than everyone else. But despite his power he doesn't seem to be in control of anything, but not as an interesting story point he just isn't. His summon seems to be doing things behind his back, the kind girl he saved killed a bunch of people and seems to be a little crazy. Then he let all the adventures die. Idk it feels like the MC is either super overpowered or helpless plus the whole thing with his other classmate. The MC just seems to be tied to every event and can't develop for himself after a certain point. The plot point of Adonis going back in time is such an interesting plot point but it feels wasted. If Ray was not as powerful as he is now in the last timeline I don't know how they managed to get anything done. Honestly the only conclusion that I can get is that Adonis is just dumb, despite having an opportunity to go back and time he just always is powerless to do anything, and the grand warrior and grand mage were weaker than Adonis before the first fight. Overall it seems like everyone besides the MC is inconsequential and yet most the chapters do not focus on the main characters development but everyone else. This also happens while there is the threat of the one rogue classmate and the dragons that are much more powerful than even the MC. I know the other worlders start out stronger but people can increase their classes and gain skills and yet even the strongest people are weak AF and there are like 3 of them. It just all feels like a facade.

Too childish for me. Author is like a child who trys to be cool. World building is 3/5 mc 2/5 story 3/5 thats all. Its just a time waste. 1/5

For me this was a fun read, I really enjoyed it. The only problem I have is the random jjk references and the random switching of POV's, but other then that the characters are interesting and it's pretty funny.

Read about 369 chapters, and here's what I think: Not bad. It gets better over time. My only complaint is the slow pace of the plot. It seems like I've read far fewer chapters than I actually have. Then there's the world building, which I have to say is definitely the weakest point of the novel. The only things we have are the royal castle, the black market, the royal dungeon, and a few trips outside the capital. For an isekai, I expected more development in this area. The further we go with secondary characters, the less scene they are given, and except for a few, the rest are practically discarded. There are also some filler chapters, but they are few. Otherwise, the novel is okay. Give it a chance. it certainly has its fair share of problems, but as I said, the novel improves over time. That being said, I'll stop here, as this novel is not my cup of tea. Again, the novel isn't great (at least it isn't as far as I've read), but it's not mediocre either.

POISON TEST UNTIL CH 550 : so this story aint very deep and intricate , OP spam , useless HERO even when trying to redo what he did wrong but doesnt realize that even when trying not to affect certain aspects of the past u still will get different future no matter what ( butterfly effect manifested the sec u came back ) , MC absolute runt hinking he some kind of mastermind , while in reality is just a failure of an MC , such person would pale in front of true MCs in other GEM Novels . . .
