Advent of the Three Calamities

This is an amazing novel and so far, this is looking to be this authors greatest work. Love everything about this novel from the pacing, to the motivation, to the plot, to the MC. Kinda reminds me of one of Warmaisach works in the sense of how hard working and how many hardships the MC goes through. Would recommend reading this, however you should probably wait for it to get to at least chapter 250-300 to feel the most satisfaction reading this work of art.

Peak shi ! The mc is just him and the recent chapters he being a meneace all the charecters are likable and the dad jokes💀💀 in ma opinion it will probably be better than tapov (only sad part is tournament arc was not even like 10 chapters )

This story have well-developed characters and a captivating plot. Very good dad jokes too (favorite part tbh). I can tell this is gonna be peak same as the authors previous work.

what i like the most is how well Entrail is able to dive us into the story. And while the academy part may seems very cliche for some it is not. The mysterious world and power used by MC , the felling of fear you fell with every chapter is insane, even tought there is some comedy and sad part you mostly fell like walking in the edge of a cliff. we've seen how well Entrail id very good at plot twist so I'm exepting many more here too. The start may tell people otherwise but emotions are really the scary thing about this novel

One of the best novels i have ever read, even better than his Author POV in my opinion. The plot is engaging, the world is interesting and mysterious, the powers are cool and original, the characters are well written. Despite reading it day by day, i have yet to get bored or lose interest, at least since chapter 160. It is the first time i have gotten hooked eo much on a novel. Really recommended, but beware of the constant cliffhangers every chapter.

A novel with a very promising start, good characters, the best descriptions of emotions and unique character development I've ever seen (this part exclusive to mc), lots of good action scenes and incredible side stories, the author has managed to stir up sadness, anguish and terror in different parts of the novels. I'm really looking forward to when the author touches on the romance (I really love the development of Ren and Amanda's house). Overall, the beginning is much better than Tapov and I give it a five because I trust that the author (now a solid 4. 6) won't let his work fall apart in the final part again and will explore his current world more, along with the development of secondary characters.

Writing Style: So, as many other reviews have already talked about, the way that this novel is written is very immersive and sometimes emotional. Some scenes make you feel as if you are actually there, the dialogue is realistic which is a breath of fresh air compared to other novels, and I was actually able to remember most of the side characters' names (I have a terrible memory, so this indicates that I really liked the story). It's nothing life-changing or well-written like Lord of the Mysteries or Reverend Insanity, but enjoyable and definitely deserves to be in the top 20s for the rankings. Characters: I absolutely love how Ren is written. Although I am a fan of overpowered protagonists, I am very pleased at how the author was able to balance out this using some of his flaws. One of my favourite parts of this novel were Ren's interactions with the side characters. Not so with the females, but more so with Leon (not a spoiler since he appears in literally the first chapter). Those two definitely made me laugh a lot more than I thought I would with such a sombre novel. Plot: Like most other books, some arcs are better than the others. However, in my honest opinion, they're all a lot better than I anticipated. Unlike how I ended up dropping Author's POV, I don't think I'll be dropping this one with how good the plot currently is. Again, no spoilers, but just know that some parts may make you cry. Notes: The only very minor, tiny, small, miniscule critique I have of the whole light novel is the main character's name- Ren Dover. How am I meant to take those badass endings or cliff-hangers seriously when I burst into laughter every single time his full name is mentioned? Sigh, first-world problems I suppose. In conclusion, it's a borderline masterpiece that everyone should add to their library to start stacking chapters. Hope this review helped someone out! Read all available chapters and must stay; it‘s quite an enjoyable read. The setting, story, decision making of mc and side characters seem to make sense and mc‘s progression and the various pitfalls, both due to inexperience and constant scheming of various parties, seem realistic and therefore a great immersive experience for the reader. I haven‘t come around inconsistencies, info dumps, forgotten details or stupid foreshadowing, which seem to happen more and more with other novels. So yes, I thoroughly enjoyed all available ch. as of june 12th and look forward to more.

The world building is as good as the mc physical prowess, inexistant. . . The character development is peak, at the point that I see myself growing bored at the fights and yearning for more interactions. . . The power system? There was one? It's so slow I only notice it when it is mentioned with his little cheat code, which carries him on about every major fight. . .
