    In continuation to my previous comment ( still intended for new readers) I'll emphasize things I didn't Right now the novel is incomplete and is at best a third done, there is supposed to be two chapters update a month but the admin here updates it once a year I guess. If the novel gets more popular translators may translate faster but easily, this novel wil take at least another decade to complete. Another thing to note is... Its read is exhausting as f*ck... Like for those who enjoy it very much , like absolutly love the political yap( myself , esteemed shenanigan, most of the five star reviews) find it less iof a problem but majority will feel burdened while reading this... That's why I recommend taking a break at any given point , maybe read some other novels in the meantime, do not push yourself to the very limit is reading this, because it's better if you take a year or so to read it... Since you will get more chaps. You think I'm exaggerating? Heh Read and understand

    I keeping no spoiler , as this comment is intended for the new readers 1) mc is young for a long-time 2)the pace of this novel is slow af Due to this the way the novel progresses is weird at best, There are arcs of action intensive without break madness coupled with endless political yap If you like political yap the. You will like half the novel As for the action , it's almost so much a person becomes numb to it That's why I don't consider each new death trap as a new crazy reveal, rather it's just part of the build up. Wondering wtf is the end if a death trap is a build up, Heh This novel does that perfectly, after a long arc of build up, it gives a f*ck*ng amazing ending But it's still strange what would be a final battle in other novels is nothing but a build up here And for the political yap.. Your gonna have to activate your brain cells it's not easily understood even by me in my second read. In any chapter if you see my comments you can always ask for an explanation.

        Heh... Well not properly for a while, like beyond 500 chaps But if you read my other long comment here where I described mc abilities... Basically I like to think of the powersystem is more a political one. Where rather than individual strenght what matters more is the army, land , side of morality they stand on , their connection, their vision and total acumen to handle the situation... These are all the cards the real antagonists in this novel use ( other than mystics) Well thales kinda lacks those too But that's why he specialises in using the enemy's card against them... Coming back to topic, yes he does eventually, After the time skip, So what chapter are you on? And how do like the novel so far? . In any case this novel is definitely exhausting As I keep saying It's a son of a b*tch

        I am around chapter 100 and it's too exhausting. The fights, the schemes, betrayal, traps everything is top notch. But I still feels author drags a few things like their are certain fights he can easily conclude in 2 chaps he will give 4-5 chapters. I love Thales deduction abilities but he is easily scared up till this point so it's a little annoying and one thing I don't understand is his father. What does supreme king wants? Up untill this point he is just using Thales like... A disposable piece. He doesn't care much. But everything is amazing in it's own way.

        He’s basically 7, with fragments of his past life, oh and the scared part well I can’t describe it without spoilers but that song of a gun he does the most insane thing, you will never guess it, and bout the supreme king yeah I hate his guts too, I understand him but still

        True it's very exhausting This novel actually feels like it barely goes anywhere in 600 chaps only after that point does it become really apparent that stuff has progressed That's why I tell this novel is very incomplete The problem.. its updating too slowly at best 20 to 30 chaps a year. That's why feel free to take a break at any point As for thales attitude as a rereader I realised two things One thales is mostly never outwardly scared, it his internal monologue And even in his internal monologue not all he is not really that scared He is actually pretty daring as he dares involve himself directly in the situation by doing what he can Which at this point is just conversations, . As said you can take a break at any point And cine back to it later , After all novel is a son of a b*tch. In the end it's better if you take a few years to finish reading, cuz then you will get more chapters So read slowly. Kessels exact attitude, is too much of a spoiler.

        Hey even if it's a heavy spoiler. I want to know what does King Kessel feels about Thales his son? He is just using him like a chess piece. That's why I really wanna know does he have no affection toward his son. His son is just another piece on his revenge chess board?

        No … not really … It’s just there are few things more important to him than Thales…. Tbh it’s weird cuz he definitely cares about Thales It’s a bit hard to describe. Even tho he cares abt Thales, he doesn’t care abt his comfort or his state of mind rather he cares that Thales should be alive I guess…. And to kessel… revenge is actually not that important

    Hey guys don't pay too much attention on hate comments and just read it This novel is masterpiece, politics is complex and characters of this novel are great. I think this novel deserves place in the top 10. Honestly I wanted to say top 5 but I don't find a unique aspect of this novel when I look Back may it's because of the f*ck*ng slow updates Which made me annoying. It's pitty that novels like this which are one of the best on this site are barely hanging in top 100. I recommended this to other readers in comment section of popular novels. I hope it will be there one day

    I don't know what to say about the novel. I wanna to start it but all the reviews I read on NU says that novel sort is amazing but is a little too suffocating. Mc is always jumping from the embrace of one problem to an other. He never gets a proper breather even after tackling with issues with all his might. And he is still a kid. So I want an honest opinion from someone who has read almost whole novel. Please tell me.

      The novel is a son of a b*tch Be prepared for political yap Activate your brain cells And read this, once you are done you will develop your charector in ways you couldn’t even imagine. All the nu reviews should be accurate, but let me tell what they didn’t, every hardship mc faces, makes him grow, it directly gives him influence and experience to handle other issues, this is how it is in reality, most novels give one or two failures to the mc through which they make the mc grow in the desired direction, but it’s not actually like that For every success there are hundreds of failures , this novel manifests that. None of the death traps mc is stuck in are meaningless they all contribute, none of them are unnecessary, they all together give him the confidence to do the crazy things he does . Read and become a better man This novel is basically a trial Not for the weak minded. Read and discover your inner resolve

      hmm, well it is intense, the mc does have periods of breaks in between, but when an arc gets into full steam its like an never ending night, one so dark that the suns promise to rise again, feels like but an distant dream especially (ah i cant talk about it without spoiling it) arc however that is the reason the dawn seems ever so bright and filled with hope when the sun finally rises above the horizon once more, but the one thing is none of it is forced the author doesn't randomly introduce catastrophizes just to torment the mc, every development is logical, it is an medieval world filled with schemers, the world building is excellent and characters think and act, it doesn't feel like only the mc is sentient but every character has a sentient mind, their own thoughts and agendas. This is an interesting novel.

    heard its good but super slow paced that even after more than a hundred chapters only about a month has passed since the beginning of the story. Is that true? I really dont want to read a story were MC is a 7 year old/child for a long long time

      Mc is seven years for like 500 or so chaps. And tho his physical power is mostly low during this period, I always thought of him as op Cuz not all battles are fought with direct violence, As Robert frost said Ice is sufficient to end the world too. Think of the battles in this novel like chess games where people move pieces or strategically use their cards against their enemies These cards willl be the army’s they have , the land they own, their popularity their resources, their individual high level combatant, the legitimacy of their bloodline , the side of morality they stand on, their future visions and goals… almost everything they are made of is their cards they use The mc seems to lack cards, no army, no strength, no land, no future aims , any cards he gets also see, insufficient at all times That’s why the specialty of this mc, is using the opponents cards against them, because every coin has two sides That’s why I feel the mc is op, but to properly refine this ability he faces

      7 years has passed since the novel started, Thales is 14, he was 7 at first, updates are super slow, so, Thales will grow up like a real human maybe.

      It really is kinda of slow paced I am at chapter 294 and the mc is a 14 year old teenager but it shouldn't be the reason you don't want to read the novel since it is especially has unique things compared to others novels, it is good tho.
